Project portraits

Since last November, I have been working on two multimedia documentary projects that all in all, are about family and the strength of humans to overcome adversity, challenges and hardship…and how they continue to build positive, fruitful lives despite realities caused by natural disasters or civil and federal laws. That being said, the projects remain incomplete, but I did want to share a few portraits from each story that symbolize the beauty of each person I have had the pleasure of knowing and the honor to tell their stories.

“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.” –Dr. Seuss, from The Lorax (a quote that pin points exactly what I love about these people.)
